Which London borough has the highest number of e-scooter collisions

It has been revealed that there were around 640 collisions involving e-scooters in London boroughs between 2018 and 2021

Figures showed that 258 of those e-scooter collisions in London were just in the first six months of 2021

‘Personal injury collisions’ involving e-scooters recorded by police shot up from just eight in 2018 to 250 in 2020.

The Police keep warning the public but still the use of Electric Scooter’s is rising.

Almost all of the incidents will have involved private e-scooters, with TfL only reporting 14 user injuries during its e-scooter rental trial that began last summer.

The borough with the most number of collisions involving e-scooters was Lambeth, with 29 incidents recorded by police in 2021.

TfL’s e-scooter rental trial operates in the boroughs of Camden, the City of London, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Lambeth, Richmond-upon-Thames, Southwark, Tower Hamlets and Westminster.
