Over 400 people turned up to the Watford Police Station Open Day, with Custody Tours proving popular, along with the Crash Car !! The History of Policing was on display, as well as help with Vehicle security.

 

The event was on from 10am until 2pm with Free Entry. Sunday August 21st

 

Why is it so hard to turn the Police Siren on? I found out at the open Day..

 

Activities will included:

  • Free security property marking
  • Police vehicles on show
  • Police history stall
  • Tours of inside of the station

Mayor Dorothy Thornhill helps promote the event.

 

Neighbourhood Sergeant Steve Alison, who has organised the event, said: “The open day is a fun day out for everyone and we thoroughly enjoy it as well. We look forward to welcoming as many people as possible to take part in the activities on offer and meet with their local neighbourhood team.”
