Police closed Road as Emergency services are dealing with an incident

🚨 Emergency services are currently dealing with an incident and have closed Rickmansworth Road in Watford drivers are advised to avoid the area.

8 Police cars, an ambulance, an Ambulance Operational Commander vehicle and an East Anglican AIR Ambulance attended the scene.

Below the Bridge, several emergency paramedics put up a privacy screen.

Traffic is at a ‘standstill’ near the town centre, Langley Road and Watford Junction as drivers find alternative routes.

Rickmansworth Road was shut but clear. Police lifted the road closure at 2pm.

A spokesperson told HertsLive: “We were responding to a concern for welfare for a person on the bridge who is in crisis. The situation has been resolved now and the road should be reopening soon.”
