Officers from the Met's Counter Terrorism arrested a 38-year-old woman at a residential address in Brent on suspicion of possession of terrorist material.

She has being held under Section 2 of the Terrorism Act, dissemination of terrorist publications, and Section 58, possession of a document or record containing information of a kind likely to be of use to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

The arrest took place at around 06.30hrs on Thursday, 14 July.

Officers continue to search a business address in W7 and a residential address in UB10(ubridge).

The arrest has been made under PACE.
