They were clearly waiting for me. They knew that I was coming.'
He He immediately reverses his car and Driving back onto the busy A41 the man tells his passengers in the car to call the police.
But then a 4x4 overtakes and pulls up beside them , the driverstaring right at him as they try to ram him off the road.
The incident, which occurred in the evening approximately two years ago, doesn't end there.
He says, I have been in shock from the altercation and thats why it has taken him so long to share his dash cam footage that recorded it.
I was traumatized by the event and I thought it would be good to get the awareness out there.'
He told MailOnline that he followed up with the police a few times, eventually learning that they had arrested someone who had been released on bail.
He said: 'I think the police are afraid of the travellers. They don’t feel like they have a grip on them. They're not registered anywhere and its extremely difficult to identify them.'
The man also reported the incident to Autotrader.
