A teenage girl who went missing from St Albans was found in Birmingham

Police have confirmed the 15-year-old girl who had been reported missing has been found safe and well.


She was located last night (Thursday August 18) in the Birmingham area.


Police would like to thank the public and media for assisting with this appeal.

Alexandra Chilianu, aged 15, was last seen in The Camp area of the city on Monday, August 14.


She is described as white, of slim build, 5ft 1in tall, with long dark hair.


Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace the teenage girl who has gone missing from St Albans.


It is believed she may have travelled to Birmingham and has links to both the Stechford and Bordesley Green areas of the city.


Anyone who has seen Alexandra or who knows where she is should call Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, quoting ISR 133 of August 14.
