Man Arrested for committing Multiple Burglaries in Hemel Hempstead

Officers have arrested a 26 year old man, of no fixed address, in connection with a number of burglaries at business premises in Hemel Hempstead.

 

The following offences have occurred: 

 

  • D1/17/2543 – Ape Vaping, Queensway, Hemel Hempstead. At around 11.50pm on Tuesday, March 28, an offender gained entry to the premises and searched inside taking E cigarettes before making off.

 

  • D1/17/2545 – Aurora, London Road, Hemel Hempstead. At around 11pm on Tuesday, March 28, an offender gained entry to the store and took a charity box before making off.

 

  • D1/17/2544 – Pie in the Sky, High Street, Hemel Hempstead. Just after midnight on Wednesday, March 29, an offender forced open the door and took money from the till before making off.

 

  • D1/17/2456 – Shaggy and Chic, London Road, Hemel Hempstead. Between 4.30pm on Saturday, March 25 and 4.40pm the following day, offender(s) gained access to the shop and removed money from the till. A mobile phone was also taken.

 

  • D1/17/2451 – Raja Tandoori, London Road, Hemel Hempstead. Between midnight on Saturday, March 25 and 7.25am the following day, offender(s) gained access to the restaurant and took money from the till before making off.

 

  • D1/17/2454 – Raja Tandoori. Between midnight on Saturday, March 18 and 11.30am the following day, offender(s) have gained access to the restaurant and have taken two bottles of alcohol before making off.

 

  • D1/17/2396 – Aurora. At around 11.20pm on Thursday, March 23, an offender gained entry to the store and took a shampoo and conditioner set, hair straighteners, a laptop, cash and a charity box.

 

Anyone who has information in relation to these crimes is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number 101, quoting the relevant crime reference number.

 

The arrested man remains in police custody at this time.
