Chaotic scenes of Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Mercedes in London's Piccadilly Circus

Traffic was halted for fifteen minutes by the Piccadilly Boy Racers who described the vent as a “secret supercar meet” to avoid “riff-raff” and no “d*******” drivers”.

In a video promoting the event Mr Ahmad told friends: “Now that’s how you shut down London, true PBR style”, sitting in a 2015 Audi R8, which can cost £230,000.

And in another video which was published on Facebook Live, one of the drivers said the supercar group travelled down from Watford.

Crowds swarmed the streets around the busy junction as they took selfies with the garishly-coloured cars that included a Lamborghini Huracán, Lamborghini Aventador, Lamborghini Gallardo, Nissan GTRs, a Ferrari 488 and a Ferrari 360 Spider.
