Huge fire breaks out in London's Chinatown

A fire has broken out in the Chinatown area of London. ‘The fire is affecting part of the basement kitchen, the restaurant’s ducting – its extraction system – between the ground floor and the roof and part of the building’s roof.’

Six fire engines and 35 firefighters called to fire in Chinatown. Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers have been called to a fire in a restaurant with flats above in Gerrard Street in Soho. 

Firefighters and police were today urging people to stay away from Chinatown after a huge fire broke out.

A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said no one was injured or had required treatment as yet.
