He has links to the Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Enfield and Watford areas.

Officers investigating a theft in Stevenage are appealing for information and witnesses.


Between 5.30pm and 5.40pm on Tuesday (January 31) the victim – a woman aged in her 40s – was walking along Fairlands Way towards Popple Way when a man on a bicycle rode past her and snatched her handbag.


The offender then cycled off towards Popple Way.


He is described as wearing dark clothing, jeans and possibly a dark hat or hood.


Anyone who saw the incident or saw a man on a bicycle with a black leather-looking handbag in the area around the times stated is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference E1/17/810.
