“If we don’t get this injunction then we give up, it’s finished,” said activist Sophie Wilson.

'The solicitors have told us we do have a case to take the council to court.'

This is because some of the children have special needs and disabilities. One such child is a 10 year old who has managed to secure a big percentage of the funds needed for the solicitors.

But this is not enough as they need to raise a further £2,500 funds to cover legal costs. A 'go fund me' page is now hoping to raise this.

Last month protestors who were facing a closure of Farm Terrace Allotments took their case to High Court in London, but lost. Now concrete will be poured over where they had Green space to grow Organic vegetables.

A special meeting had to be held after a couple of Cabinet meetings had not listened to the proposal.

The Labour group of councillors are completely opposed to the removal of the supervision at the Adventure Play grounds. It is a cost cutting exercise to tune of £250,000 as mentioned in paragraph 4.1.1 in the Watford Borough Cabinet papers (4th July). The Liberal Democrats are going to get Veolia to maintain the new equipment, but Veolia can't even collect our rubbish right! There is no need to do this as the cost can be easily absorbed by the council.
